Wonderful for Muslims interested in a more thorough understanding of their religion, this set is also an excellent introduction to Islam for people of other faiths who wish to gain a clear understanding of Islam’s basic principles and practices. Remembered by students for its liveliness and clarity, this set is filled with fascinating insights into Islam.

- Why Religion Matters: The Fate of the Human Spirit in an Age of Disbelief. Huston Smith, the author of the classic bestseller The World’s Religions, delivers a passionate, timely message: The human spirit is being suffocated by the dominant materialistic worldview of our times. Smith champions a society in which religion is once again treasured and authentically practiced as the vital source of human wisdom.
- Islam:Religion of Life: By Abdul Wadod Shalabi Edited by A.H. Murad 96pg. This is a very concise and profound introduction to the basic tenets of Islam. The book is replete with a rich and meaningful description of the Noble path. This book is written about Islam from within. It seeks to show something of the true nature of the faith, thereby challenging the accepted stereotypes which so badly compromise the present dialogue of civilizations. By explaining the significance of the formal practices and doctrines of the Islamic religion, it endeavors to build a bridge over what must be the deepest yet most irrational gulf ever to have cleaved apart two cultures. This book is written to introduce Islam to the Western reader, Muslim and non-Muslim. Its author, Dr. Abdul Wadod Shalabi, is a Muslim scholar trained at Al-Azhar University (Egypt) and who received his doctorate from Cambridge. The text was edited by Shaykh Abdal-Hakim Murad. The book also comes with a small preview booklet of Sidi Abdal Adheem (Peter) Sanders' upcoming photographic book 'In the Shade of the Tree'. These beautiful snapshots with their commentary are an excellent glimpse into the world of Islam. The pictures in the preview are of the Ka'ba, the Alhambra, Muslims in China, and others.
- Reason, Freedom, and Democracy in Islam: Essential Writings of Abdolkarim Soroush

And for those who fear Allah, he (ever) prepares a way out,and He provides for him from
(sources) he never could imagine. And if any one puts his
trust in Allah, sufficient is ((Allah)) for him. For Allah
will surely accomplish his purpose: verily, for all things
has Allah appointed a due proportion.
